Decorating the home for Christmas
It is that time of the year, this weekend my husband and I
will go out and look for that perfect tree, drag out the decorations from the
large box marked Christmas decorations, that's when it starts for me, every
year we buy one or two new decorations for the tree from various places and countries we
have visited and lived and every year I open the decorations box and it makes me
smile remembering Christmas’s gone by, spending it with friends and family and
some members of the family who are no longer with us, and who we miss terribly.
It is tradition then to warm up the mulled wine, take out the smoked salmon and
cheeses put Christmas music on for the first time and have fun decorating the
tree, not without a few disagreements of course on what parts of the tree
should be trimmed if any!
